Police said the girl was playing outside her home when two unidentified men abducted her.
New Delhi: A five-year-old girl was abducted and raped by two unidentified men in New Delhi, police said Wednesday.
The incident was reported from east Delhi's New Seemapuri area on Tuesday afternoon. "The girl was playing outside her home when two unidentified men abducted her. They took her to an isolated place and raped her," said a police officer.
Later, the attackers escaped from the spot and left the child in a pool of blood. "The girl was later spotted by some people at around 1.30 pm (Tuesday). They informed the police. The police immediately took the girl to a hospital where she is recuperating," added the officer.
The medical examination of the girl confirmed rape. Hunt is on to nab the culprits, said the officer.
