Delhi: Police rescue minor maid, case filed against employer

New Delhi: Delhi Police on Tuesday rescued a minor maid from Netaji Nagar Area of South Delhi. The employer used to beat the girl and locked her when she went abroad. The girl managed to escape from the roof and made a PCR call.

The employer is an air hostess with a government airlines.

Police have registered a case under Juvenile Justice Act, Child Labour Act and section 342 of IPC.

Police said the employer is out of India and is likely to be arrested once she is back.
