If you think the Kolaveri rage has slowed down, think again. This is because the 'Kolaveri' star seems very much in the limelight with several notable projects in his kitty. And what is he up to now? It is not another anthem or theme song, but Hindi classes to polish the actor's Hindi skills for his Bollywood debut 'Raanjhnaa', directed by Aanand Rai.
But the actor is perhaps not giving his master a hard time, as he seems to have an appreciable knowledge of the language already.
The actor, who will be seen in filmmaker Bharatbala's next film, which will be a bilingual (Tamil and Hindi), says he might play lead in the Hindi version too. "I have been juggling films in both languages - 'Raanjhnaa' in Hindi and Bharatbala's yet-to-be-titled Tamil film simultaneously. Bharatbala is planning to direct the film in Hindi too, and discussions are on if I will be playing the lead," says the actor.
Gearing up for the release of his much-awaited film, '3', directed by his wife Aishwarya R Dhanush, the actor cannot hide his excitement.
"Aishwarya has given her best in this film. It will surely be a hit just like its song, Why this Kolaveri di," says Dhanush.
Meanwhile, Dhanush has been finalised as the lead in Simbudevan's next film. However, he is tight-lipped about the story. "I have to complete these projects before I begin work on that film. I can only tell you that it's a hilarious subject and something that I have not done earlier."
Dhanush, who recently was part of the Sachin Anthem to show his love for Sachin Tendulkar, can't wait to watch IPL. "I'm trying to find time just to watch Sachin's game," he says.
When asked about the rage that his 'Kolaveri' song had become, he said, "I have always wanted to write lyrics and sing a fun song, and that's how the song happened. I never imagined that 'Kolaveri di' would become a Dhanush brand. This is definitely a privilege for me."

For Road Safety
This was perhaps one of the earliest instances of Kolaveri being used to sell an idea. In about a week after the song stormed the worldwide web, much before the audio CDs hit the racks, Chennai traffic police erected banners in many places in the city mentioning the cult song to convey a message of safe driving.
Mobile game
The Blackberry boys got their taste of Kolaveri late in February, when a gaming version of the chart-topper was launched. Kolaveri Di – the mobile gaming karoke app has both trivia about the song and a chance to record one’s voice in it, and later share that version with friends using the BB messenger
On T-shirts
It's not often that you see lyrics of a Tamil song on a T-shirt, where quirky one-liners are most common. But Kolaveri Di made its presence felt here too, with several tees designed with the song’s lyrics on it. A wide range of these shirts can be found online, starting from Rs 199.
On Chutti TV
A show that occupies the 8.30 pm slot of weekdays in a show for kids, that has a protagonist who goes by the name Kolaveri boy. This programme in the channel for children shows the eponymous character as the one who handles issues pertaining to science in a humorous, clever way.
