New Delhi: According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), as many as 531 passengers are being tracked at airports across India for Ebola. But no positive cases have been detected so far. The Health Ministry is conducting screenings at all airports.

Till August 21, there had been 1350 deaths and 2473 people have been detected with Ebola worldwide. It has been an international outbreak this time. This year the number of cases have been more than the total detected in the last 30 years. Exit screening options have been put up by WHO at countries which are affected by Ebola.

However, the risk of getting Ebola is very low from international travel as it is not an air borne disease. Closer contact with affected person is needed for one to be affected by the virus.
