Palo Alto: Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and other executives addressed about 200 prospective investors at a hotel luncheon in Silicon Valley.

Yesterday's event was the last of the bigger road show events that Facebook Inc. is holding ahead of its initial public offering of stock, which is expected late next week.

The luncheon was held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Palo Alto, California. Zuckerberg arrived in a caravan of black SUVs and got in the hotel's back entrance.

He gave prospective investors a 10-minute presentation. That was followed by a 35-minute question-and-answer session with Zuckerberg, Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg and Chief Financial Officer David Ebersman.

The event followed similar meetings in New York on Monday and Boston on Tuesday. Facebook will hold some smaller, private meetings in the coming week but nothing as big as those three. The company also has posted a version of its road show presentation online.

Facebook Inc. is expected to price its IPO on Thursday and begin trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market yesterday under the ticker symbol "FB." The offering could value the company near USD 100 billion.
