New Delhi: Abandoned baby Falak's mother seems to have been identified and she is slated to visit the two-year-old at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Tuesday.
Police sources say the woman who admitted to being Falak's mother will now have to undergo a DNA test for identification.
She has also reportedly confessed to having a baby boy, whose whereabouts are unknown as of now.
Police tracked down the mother, Munni, on the statement of her employer Lakshmi, who claims reportedly that Munni left the baby with her in September and disappeared.
Meanwhile, the doctors have said that there is neither an improvement nor any deterioration in the condition of Falak.
The baby continues to be on ventilator and her chances of developing gross pneumonia still remain.
However, according to the doctors, the chest is clear as of now, but the infection in brain fluids remains.
A new antibiotic was added to her drugs on Monday and doctors are waiting to see how she responds to it.
