BANGALORE: The All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) will host the 6th National Awards for Excellence in Printing on September 23. The event will be inaugurated by Governor HR Bhardwaj and Vijaya Kumar Chopraji, former chairman, Press Trust of India, will be the Guest of Honour.“We are happy to host this event in Bangalore this time. A competition was conducted for the printers in various sectors. There were as many as 1,890 entries. The winners will be felicitated on that day,” said Manoj Mehtha, president of the Federation. “The AIFMP has been at the forefront of initiating cooperation among the South Asian printers. It has also hosted the 5th World Print Congress in New Delhi which was attended by 600 participants from 17 countries,” he added.The event will be held at NIMHANS Convention Centre, starting at 6 pm.
