This Saturday, the Goethe Zentrum Trivandrum is screening the German film ‘The Albanian’,directed by Johannes Naber.
The story revolves around the life of Albanian villager Arben (played by Nik Xhelilaj) who is in love with Etleva and wants to marry her. But she belongs to another clan and her father has promised her to another man who offers 10,000 Euros as bride price.
As the story unfolds, Arben is forced to flee to Berlin, where he learns to live the hard way. The film is a winner of several awards. The film will be screened at the amphitheatre of the Goethe Zentrum at 6.45 p.m. on Saturday.
