First-of-its-kind event on Sathya Sai Baba

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The undying grace of Sathya Sai Baba is finding new life at a reputedly first-of-its kind event; a Bhagavatha Saptaha Yagnam dedicated to the spiritual guru in the city.Hundreds of Sai devotees thronged the Jaganya Kalyana Mandapam, Powdikonam, on Sunday evening to witness the start of the ‘Sree Sathya Sai Bhagavatha Saptaha Yagnam’ organised by the Sree Sathya Sai Seva Organisation (Thiruvananthapuram North).The organisers call forth devotees to attend the Yagnam to lend their ears to the life story of the teachings and miracles of Sree Sathya Sai, a manifestation of that universal truth that appeared in the Treta Yuga as Sree Rama and the Dwapara Yuga as Sree Krishna. The 85-year-old Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi, who, in his lifetime, touched the lives of thousands across the globe, had passed away on April 24, 2011.
