CHENNAI: The Indian Quizzing League is back with ‘India Unplugged’, a specialty quiz based entirely on India. First started in 2009, the fourth edition of this quiz is scheduled to take place on Jan 26, 2012 from 9.30am at Tattvaloka Auditorium, Eldams Road, Alwarpet.Each team should consist of a maximum of three members. Also, keep in mind that each team will be charged a minimal registration fee. For details, refer iql.co.in.The IQL has researched and hosted over 100 quizzes for various entities, corporate houses and educational institutions across cities such as Chennai, Bhubaneshwar, Calcutta and Mumbai. Some of its clients include Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Infosys Technologies, Royal Bank of Scotland, Saint Gobain, IIT Bombay and IIM Calcutta.Apart from quiz content and research, IQL was the first and only quizzing group in Chennai to have hosted ‘Workshops in Quizzing’ for school children. Summer and winter camps were held in Chennai in May 2009 and Dec 2009 with sessions on quizzing ethics, ways to frame questions, how to become a good quiz master and how to bring the quizzer inside you to the forefront, all designed especially for the kids.
