KOCHI: A ‘ghosha yatra’ was held from Elamkulam Kavalackal Sree Bhagavathi temple carrying the idol of Lord Krishna to Elamkulam Sree Mahavishnu temple on Friday. The ceremony was performed as a prelude to the ‘Sukritham Bhagavatham Yagnam’ to be led by Swami Udit Chaitanya from March 4 to 11. The idol was received by Painottu Ravindran Embranthiri, the high priest of Elamkulam Sree Mahavishnu temple. The yagnam will begin with a ‘Ganapathi homam’ by C V Pushpan. In the event to be held thereafter at 4 pm, Mata Amritanandamayi Math international general secretary Swami Purnamritananda Puri will inaugurate the yagnam.
