In a bizarre news, a goods train that set out from Jodhpur for Mundra Port in Gujarat on July 27 is reported to have gone missing for the past 17 days.
The train was booked by an exporter Ranjan Kansara from Jodhpur on July 14. On July 27, it was loaded with 90 containers each containing goods worth Rs 10 lakh and total export materials worth Rs 9 crore.
The train was to reach the destination within 3 days but been missing since then. Train's online status shows it is in Ahmedabad since August 2, but it has not been found there.
When Kansara filed a complaint with railway officials in Jodhpur, he was told rain could have delayed the train.
