Govt not to appeal against Lok Ayukta order

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Government will not appeal against the Lok Ayuktha’s decision to cancel all Assistant Grade II appointments in the Kerala University, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said on Friday.The government will instead act on the recommendations filed by the Higher Education Secretary, the ‘competent authority’ on the issue, Chandy told a post-Cabinet briefing here.
