Heart to Help programme launched

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Health Minister Adoor Prakash launched the ‘Heart to Help’ programme of the Meditrina Hospital, Plamoodu. The programme aims to create awareness among the public about holistic cardiac health care practices and prevention of heart problems.One hundred and fifty heart patients will be provided cardiac treatment free of cost as per ‘Hridayamritam’, a sub-segment of the Heart to Help programme. Free medical detection camps and health seminars will be organised as part of the programme. K Muraleedharan MLA presided over the function. N Peethambara Kurup MP released ‘Heart Beats’, the medical news bulletin of the hospital. Lions Club district governor Ramakrishnan Nair, Corporation councillor George Louis, MD Dr N Prathap Kumar and hospital administrator K C S Nair spoke.
