MANGALORE: Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade welcomed the move of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and former minister H D Kumaraswamy to shift from their previous stands of taking an oath before the presiding deity Lord Manjunatheshwara in Dharmasthala.
Heggade, in a press statement expressed happiness about the decision of both leaders to refrain from taking the oath, and choosing instead to just pray at the temple.The decision of both leaders to pray before Lord Manjunatheshwara augurs well for the development of state, he said in the statement.

Heggade, who had been attending an international seminar in Hyderabad and launching RUDSETI in Ranchi, revealed that he had been informed about leaders and devotees of Dharmastala urging the leaders to desist from taking the oath.
