Himirika, Jaydeb mourn Ulaka

BHUBANESWAR: Minister for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Lalbehari Himirika has mourned the death of senior Congress leader Ramchandra Ulaka.  Himirika said that Ulaka had always fought for the development of the SCs, STs and backward class people. Ulaka made a great contribution to the development of tribal areas of the State, he said. Secretary of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Jaydeb Jena has also mourned the death of Ulaka. Jena said that Ulaka was elected to the Lok Sabha during Jawaharlal Nehru’s time. Describing him as a very popular tribal leader, Jena said that he performed his duties as a minister and the leader of the Opposition in an efficient manner.
