New Delhi: A day before their meeting with HRD Minister Arjun Singh, the directors of all six IIMs will meet in New Delhi on Tuesday to chalk out their strategy to deal with the two major issues expected to come up in Wednesday's meeting.
They will be spending time with each other discussing various issues, especially the controversial plans to set up their campuses abroad.
Fresh from all the heat over plans to go abroad, the directors will be looking for a patient hearing over why they should be granted greater autonomy.
Apart from autonomy and export of IIMs, the directors are also likely to discuss other important issues like review of existing programmes and the common admission test.
With the HRD Minister having already said that an amendment to the memorandum of association that would allow the IIMs to set up shop abroad is something they are willing to accept, the IIM Directors just might find some time to enjoy the Delhi winter.
