The units which have achieved overall excellence in the largest command of the Army will also be felicitated in the ceremony slated on January 15, defense spokesperson Col SD Goswami said.
"In all, three Yudh Seva medals, 18 Sena medals, 13 Vishisht Seva medals and 12 Unit Citations will be awarded by the Southern Army Commander Lt Gen Ashok Singh," Col Goswami said.
