Mumbai: The Indian Coast Guard while on a routine surveillance sortie on Saturday sighted few iron drums floating on sea about seven kilometres south west of Korlai fort near Kashid beach about FIFTY kilometres from Mumbai.
When they went closer they found a total of twelve drums having capacity of two hundred litres each. The helicopter crew immediately alerted the nearest coastline. Thereafter Indian Coast Guard got into action and in a joint effort with the local police were able to retrieve the drums.
