IT training programme for schools

Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb will inaugurate the ‘Tech Vidhya @ Schools’ project at the district panchayat headquarters on Monday.

The project aims to provide training in Information Technology to primary school students in the district. Minister for Civil Supplies Anoop Jacob will distribute computers and other equipments for the primary schools during the function.  

District panchayat president Eldhose Kunnappally said that the project will be implemented through Keltron at an estimated cost of Rs 1.1 crore.

The government will provide 140 desktops, 221 laptops, 91 multi-media projectors and 52 mufti-functional mono laser printers to 53 schools in Ernakulam.
