J Dey murder: Jigna Vora's bail hearing adjourned
Vora was arrested on November 25, 2011, on charges of criminal conspiracy in the murder case.

Mumbai: A Sessions court posted for hearing till Monday the bail plea of Jigna Vora, prime accused in the Jyotirmoy Dey murder case.

Meanwhile, six mobile phone records were submitted in court in the form of a CD.

Jigna Vora has been accused of playing a major role in the murder of the Mid Day journalist, who was shot dead in Mumbai on June 11, 2011, by four bike-borne assailants. The police believe the murder may be related to Dey's reporting on the oil mafia and professional rivalry between him and Vora.

Vora was arrested on November 25, 2011, on charges of criminal conspiracy in the murder case. The Deputy Chief of Bureau of Asian Age was arrested under Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) on charges of supplying licence plate number of Dey's motorcycle and his address to dreaded mafia Chhota Rajan just a day before his murder.
