Priyanka Chopra's look in her special appearance song 'Shootout at Wadala''s 'Babli Badmaash' was inspired by the 1981 hit 'Yaarana'. In an ode of sorts, Amitabh Bachchan's trademark outfit from the chartbuster 'Jumma Chumma De De' song is sported by John Abraham in popular song 'Laila'.
Wearing a white shirt, black trousers, black jacket and red stole - John Abraham who has earlier worked with Bachchan in films like 'Viruddh' and 'Aetbaar', matches steps with Sunny Leone, reminiscent of the yesteryear hit.
"You can't claim to make a film set in the bygone era and not get influenced by Bachchan. We all have grown up on his films. His songs like 'Saara Zamaana' and 'Jumma Chumma' are chartbusters of the times gone by. I am proud and honoured to be living those times again with my songs," said Sanjay Gupta.
Balaji Motion Pictures' 'Shootout At Wadala' is directed by Gupta and stars Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Kangana Ranaut, Manoj Bajpai, Tusshar Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ronit Roy, Siddhant Kapoor and a host of others. It releases worldwide on May 3, 2013.
