CHAMRAJNAGAR: Former minister and MLA H S Mahadeva Prasad said on Sunday that the Kannadigas would teach the BJP leaders a lesson in the next Assembly elections.He said Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda is running a minority government as about ten ministers in the 22 strong Cabinet have resigned.He said the BJP leadership should recommend dissolution of the Assembly to go for elections as they have failed to stand united and give good governance. He claimed that the Congress would have an edge over the BJP in the elections as people are fed up with the infighting in the party.“How will the Chief Minister function and government perform when the ministers do not cooperate?” he asked.Procurement policyMLA Mahadeva Prasad said the government should change its turmeric procurement policy. He said the government order, directing to purchase polished turmeric, has given scope for confusion and discrimination among growers. Prasad said the government should direct the authorities to purchase both polished and unpolished turmeric.
