Karaikal SSP replaces Chandran

PUDUCHERRY: Senior Superintendent of Police, Karaikal, B Srikanth IPS, will replace V J Chandran IPS, as the Senior Superintendent (Law and Order), Puducherry, according to a release from Chief Secretary M Sathiyavathy here on Tuesday. J Ashok Kumar, presently working as sub-collector (Revenue, South, Puducherry) is transferred and posted as collector of Karaikal, according to another release from the Chief Secretary.V J Chandran is being posted as the Senior Superintendent of Police (Crime and Intelligence), Puducherry, in place of P C Hota IPS, who is being transferred.A Anto Alphonse IPS, who is the Commandant of the India Reserve Battalion, is posted as Senior Superintendent of Police, Karaikal, in place of B Srikanth. As per the release, Atul Katiyar IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police, shall hold additional charge of Commandant of India Reserve Battalion until further orders.
