ANANTAPUR: Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna will plunge into active politics soon and contest the next Assembly elections in 2014.Talking with reporters on Sunday, he made it clear he was not eyeing the chief minister’s post.He said he had not decided yet on the constituency to contest from.Balakrishna was here to participate in a star-cricket match.It may be recalled that Balakrishna, the star campaigner for Telugu Desam in the 2009 elections, had indicated that he would contest the election from Hindupur in Anantapur district but changed his mind.Amidst the ongoing tussle between the Nara and Nandamuri families, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu may utilise the services of Balakrishna to silence the latter’s siblings, Harikrishna in particular, with whom Naidu’s family has strained relations.
