Lecture on 3G and 4G technology

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Mobile Communications and Wireless Broadband expert Rajiv Vijayan, vice-president of engineering, Qualcomm Incorporated, California, will deliver a public lecture on ‘3G and 4G as the emerging trends in mobile communication’ on July 18 at the Fourth Estate Hall of the Press Club. The lecture is being organised by Asian School of Business.With 3G and 4G making big headlines in the country, the lecture will throw open an opportunity for the technocrats and management students to get a first-hand experience from a well-known expert on the latest advances in technology and the minute nuances. The lecture will dwell upon the differences between 3G and 4G technologies and what makes 4G better and faster than 3G, which is already available in the country.
