THIRVANANTHAPURAM: The registrations to the literary festival to be held in September, hosted by ‘Indian Ruminations - Journal of Indian English Literature’, have begun.The festival will be held on September 24 and 25 at Vyloppilli Samskrithi Bhavan. The focal theme of the literary festival will be ‘Exploring Indian alternatives in reading and writing’.“The event is foreseen as a platform for the creative exchange of culture, thoughts and ideas between readers and writers all over India,” said J T Jayasing, editor of the online journal. It is expected to be an artistic blend of the veterans and young writers and readers across the nation, he said.Co-editor S N Sandhya added that the festival will feature unpublished as well as established writers from among the 5,000-plus registered users of the website.The festival will have separate sessions for Malayalam and English writers and readers.
