Bigg Boss Kannada Season 11, hosted by Kiccha Sudeep and airing on Colors Kannada, is one of the popular reality shows. Meanwhile, according to reports, the channel is facing trouble due to the reality show. An advocate from Karnataka’s Sagara has issued a notice to the makers of the reality show.
A petition has been filed seeking to permanently cancel the airing of Bigg Boss season 11. As per reports, Sagar’s lawyer, KL Bhojaraj, has filed the petition. The application has been filed under Code of Business Procedure Order 39 Rule 1 and 2 read with Section 151.
In this context, a court, hearing the application issued a notice under the Code of Civil Procedure Act U/sec. 26, Order 7, rule 1. An emergency notice has been issued to the producers and editors of the Colors Kannada channel. The application will be heard on October 28.
Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 11th season, which has completed 19 days, is getting interesting day by day. However, many allegations have been heard against the show. Last week, the lawyer complained to the Women’s Commission through a letter that the privacy of the female contestants had been compromised in the Bigg Boss house. A complaint was submitted to the State Human Rights Commission that human rights were being violated in the same show.
Because of this, Big Boss stopped the concept of “hell-heaven” and allowed all the contestants to stay in the same house. Recently, the show also received police notice about the violation of the privacy of the female contestants on the show. The notice was issued by the Kumbalgodu Police after the Karnataka State Commission for Women raised concerns over a controversial task in the house.
The Kumbalgodu police have requested them to appear for an inquiry. This action comes from a complaint regarding the “Heaven and Hell” concept, where contestants were split into different sections, with some placed in a prison-like setting. The complaint raised concerns about the lack of privacy for female contestants in a multi-camera environment, potentially leading to human rights violations.
