Man kills wife, surrenders

HYDERABAD: A woman was murdered allegedly by her husband suspecting her fidelity at Miyapur on Saturday night. The couple fell in love with each other and married a few years ago, and have a 14monthold son.
According to the police, the couple, Ramana and Lakshmi (22), were residing at Martandnagar in Hafizpet. For the past few months Ramana had been suspecting his wife's character and both had quarrels. "Late on Saturday night the couple had a quarrel and, in a fit of rage, Ramana throttled Lakshmi to death," Miyapur police inspector S Bheem Reddy said. Sources said Ramana walked into Madhapur police station and confessed to his crime.
