In a shocking incident, a married woman from Rajasthan’s Churu district has accused her husband of allegedly getting her father-in-law and brother-in-law to rape her. Following the woman’s complaint, the police registered a case against the accused and started probing the matter.
As of now the police have filed an FIR in connection to the matter and have named eight people, including the woman’s father-in-law and brother-in-law, accusing them of rape.
According to the information received from the police, a married woman from a village in the Sandwa police station area has reported that her husband has been continuously feeding her intoxicants for the last 15-20 years and forcing her to have physical relations with other people. The woman further alleged that whenever she refused, her husband beat her brutally.
According to a report published in NDTV Rajasthan, the woman alleged that her husband used to mix intoxicants in tea and make her drink it and then get her raped. The woman later informed that once her husband ran with a sharp weapon to slit her throat after she protested against the incident. However, she saved her life by running away.
The woman revealed that she is a mother of three sons and a daughter.
The woman in the FIR also stated that the accused are threatening her to kill her brother as her three children are living with him. The incident came to light on Saturday, May 4. The police have acted on the woman’s complaint and have assured that strict action will be taken against the accused.
