'Mardaani' Tweet Review: Rani Mukerji delivers one of her finest performances as a tough but sensitive police officer

She kicks, punches and doesn't take any nonsense. Shivani Shivaji Roy, a fearless cop with the Mumbai police is as tough as she looks.

Starring Rani Mukerji, the latest YRF film 'Mardaani' has been directed by noted filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar. Known for films like 'Laaga Chunri Mein Daag' and 'Lafange Parinde', Sarkar explores a darker theme -- human trafficking.

Will Rani be able to play the role of the tough cop convincingly? Will the audience enjoy seeing her on screen in this new avatar? Prajakta Hebbar of IBNLive Movies is in the theatre to find out.
