Leader of Opposition in Assembly Ajay Singh also said that illegal sand mining was rampant in Tawa and Budhni areas. Seeking immediate freezing of grant of new leases, he said that Green Tribunal should send a special surveillance team to Madhya Pradesh as government was protecting the mining mafia.
