BANGALORE: With CBSE standard 12 results declared on Monday morning, mixed responses were generated among the students, some of them were elated about the results while some were disappointed about the same. In the city, schools that have secured a cent per cent results are Delhi Public School Bangalore North, Delhi Public School Bangalore South and National Public School.Mansoor Khan, general secretary, Management of Independent CBSE Schools Association said, “I am happy with the overall performance of the Chennai Region results. Students have scored well in Maths this year.” City Express spoke to students to gauge their reactions on the same. Mythireyi S said, “I am delighted with my results. This is what I expected and my hard work has paid off.” Mythireyi, a student of National Hill View Public School (NHVPS) has topped her school with 96.6 per cent. She plans to pursue MBBS. Sanath G her batchmate has scored 88.8 per cent. He initially wanted to pursue medicine. “I know my score is less for MBBS. So I want to pursue a career in bio-technology.” S Viswanath of NHVPS who scored 94.6 per has come second in his school. He is happy that he will now be able to take up mechanical engineering. Rahul Ranganathan, another student of NHVPS expected more in physics, chemistry, maths and biology. He scored 80.6 per cent, and wants to pursue mechanical engineering in the future.Similar thoughts are echoed by Akshay Raman who wants to do an engineering course in a reputed college. Raman has topped Delhi Public School Bangalore South by scoring 96.8 per cent in physics, chemistry, maths and computer science. Aditya Cherukumudi, the science topper of Delhi Public School Bangalore North says he performed better than his expectations. With a percentage of 97.2, he plans on jointing NIT Suratkal. “My parents are extremely happy, and with my two years of IIT coaching, my dream should come true,” said Cherukumudi.Shwetha Kodkani of Delhi Public School Bangalore North who scored 94.6 per cent in commerce is elated about her results, and is planning on branching into interior designing.“I am happy with the quality of performance this year at my school, and as a principal I am highly thrilled. Twenty three students scored over 80 per cent,”said Karunakaran, principla, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Hebbal.Kumar Agnivesh who scored 95 per cent from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Hebbal said, “This result is the fruit of my hard work. I worked hard everyday and plan to do engineering in the near future.” Pavanika C U who topped the commerce stream with 92.4 per cent from Kendriya Vidyalaya said she expected less, and it came as a shock to her. She didn’t go for extra coaching and plans to pursue BCom.
