Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has started an inquiry into the alleged fraud in the appointment of the son of a former official as Deputy Superintendent of Police in 2010.
MPPSC Secretary Manohar Dubey told Bhasha/PTI that the Chief Minister's office had received a complaint that the then Deputy Secretary of MPPSC, Nirmal Upadhyay, had facilitated the selection of his son, Nihit, by resorting to a malpractice in the exam.
The complaint was forwarded to MPPSC, which has initiated a probe.
