Mumbai: A 44-year-old man has been arrested for stalking a 26-year-old advocate in Mumbai. The accused is a slum dweller from Badhwar park in Cuffe Parade.
He had reportedly been stalking the lady for the past two months. After being constantly followed, the woman had approached the police with pictures that showed the man making lewd gestures.
A case has been registered against the man under sections 354(D) (stalking) and 509 (word, gesture intended to outrage the modesty of a woman).
