Understanding of god
Belief is a source of faith that is required by every person to live.
Interaction with god
Through my thoughts, I choose to believe there is a source that is with me always. I call it faith and it is with me when I am happy or in distress. I seek its presence consciously. Since I am a Hindu and have been taught to pray to a particular form of god, I imagine that form (as we always understand forms better) to be with me always.
Religious practices and spiritual beliefs
I don’t follow any religious practices, though I do believe that people have adopted them to strengthen themselves. I feel these practices are a strong source of belief. It is up to an individual to channelise that belief usefully.
Take on meditation
It is a state of awareness using conscious focus. I have tried to experience it, but am yet to realise it.
Faith in miracles
I want to start believing in miracles. Miracles provide hope and I definitely want to acquire that hope. But, I feel everything happens in a cycle and for a reason. I might not know what the reason is, so to me, it is still a miracle. In that case, there is a long list of miracles.
Favourite pilgrimage spots
I don’t think about god often, but whenever I am visiting temples, I start wondering about my beliefs and that of those around me. It stirs my thoughts and compels me to think about god. I seek answers to my questions when I am in front of the almighty. I guess every temple I visit is my favourite place of pilgrimage.
