London: Actress Scarlett Johansson says her first directorial project, 'Summer Crossing', will be difficult to sell.

The 27-year-old stepped behind the camera for 'Summer Crossing', an adaptation of Truman Capote's first novel.

She admits it does not have obvious appeal because of the tricky setting and subject matter.

"It's about that first love you have that's sort of vicious, in a sense. It's a hard sell because it's a period film, it takes place in New York, and there's no room for a big name. We'll see. Fingers crossed," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Johansson as saying.
