N D Tiwari sweeps floor at Dehradun bus stand
The 87-year-old politician was protesting against the pathetic condition of the bus terminus.

Dehradun: Even after an infamous paternity case, it looks like the political ambitions of the veteran Congress leader N D Tiwari are still not over. The former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand as well as ex-Governor of Andhra Pradesh was seen sweeping floor at the Dehradun bus stand on Sunday night.

Sources told IBN7 that the 87-year-old politician was trying to draw the Uttarakhand government's attention towards the pathetic condition of the bus terminus. His antics did seem to surprise and even impress passengers waiting for their buses at the busy terminus.

People close to Tiwari said the leader is upset with most of his dream projects in Uttarakhand being ignored by the state government. He organised dharnas on such issues earlier too.

One of the witnesses at the terminus said, "It's really sad that even after such a step by such a senior leader, the situation in Uttarakhand is not improving."

What's your reaction?
