Agun Basumatary exchanged fire with police in the jungle, 5 km north of Mainaopur area, and was killed this morning, Additional Director General of Police Dr L R Bishnoi said.
One AK-81 rifle, one magazine, 11 live rounds of ammunition, 21 empty cartridges, 2 grenades, a mobile phone and documents were recovered from the slain ultra, Bishnoi said.
