BELLARY: Bellary Rural MLA B Sreeramulu has evinced interest to start his new political party soon, apprehending political polarisation in the state.Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Sreeramulu said that preparations for setting up a new political venture are afoot. He reiterated his earlier stance that the party would include leaders from all parties and communities, final touches to which would be given after his meeting by former minister G Janardhana Reddy, who is presently jailed. He also said that many leaders of Ahinda met him and expressed solidarity with him in his new venture. The new offices of the party would be set up at Bangalore and Bellary, when he would tour the entire state, to cobble support.Sriramulu asserted that though the JD(S) and JD(U) supported him in the recently concluded Bellary byelection, he would not join either party. “I will take all like-minded leaders into confidence before launching the new party,” he said.He also said that his well wishers in Bellary, Koodalasangama and Gadag have urged him to commence state-wide tour from their places, but a final decision would be taken on the issue soon, he added.
