Axis Bank Share Price: Axis Bank shares dropped around 5 per cent on Friday to hit a low of Rs 739 on BSE a day after the company posted quarterly earnings. Axis Bank, one of the largest private-sector lenders in India, reported a massive 54 per cent on-year growth in standalone profit for the quarter ended March, largely driven by a significant fall in provisions and improved asset quality.
