BANGALORE: In connection with the murder of farmer Siddalinga Prabhu, the Thalaghattapura police issued a notice to Ashok Kheny, managing director of Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises (NICE).In the notice, the police have asked Kheny to appear before them and give his statements in connection with the case, as the complainant had suspected his and his assistant Rudresh’s role behind the murder.Meanwhile, the police said that five persons had already been arrested in connection with the murder of the farmer.It may be recalled that Siddalinga Prabhu was found murdered in a ditch near Green Valley school on Kanakapura Road. Siddalinga Prabhu, a resident of Somapura, had actively participated in a series of protests by farmers against NICE. His relative Basappa, in the complaint, had alleged Kheny and Rudresh had conspired the murder which was reported on October 18.
