One Navy commando killed in Oberoi Hotel encounter

New Delhi: One Navy commando has been killed and another seriously injured in the encounter with a group of terrorists holed up inside the Oberoi Hotel.

The Navy commando chief confirmed that one of his men has been killed.

Vice Admiral Jagjit Singh Bedi of Navy's Western Command told CNN-IBN that there are four to five terrorists who are holding 40 to 45 hostages inside the hotel.

The National Security Guards commandos, too, have taken position inside the hotel and a fierce gunbattle in on.
