Heavy transport vehicles bound for Mumbai, Bengaluru and Vijayawada can now travel on the ring road in the day as well. Apart from this, journey time for vehicles going to Peddamberpet from Patancheru will come down to 50 minutes from the earlier 2 hour 30 minutes. Those travelling to Shamshabad from Patancheru can reach in 25 minutes as opposed to 2 hours earlier. The expressway will be a driver’s pleasure as the roads are designed for speeds of 120 kmph. The eight-lane expressway has fencing on either side to avoid stray animals on the road. There are two-lane service roads on either side.
