Beverly Hills: The 86th annual Academy Award nominations for lead actress and actors in a motion picture were announced in Beverly Hills, California, by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
While Amy Adams was nominated for her role in 'American Hustle', Cate Blanchett has for 'Blue Jasmine', Sandra Bullock for 'Gravity', Judi Dench 'Philomena' and Meryl Streep 'August: Osage County'.
The nominees for Best Actor (lead) included Christian Bale ('American Hustle'), Bruce Dern ('Nebraska'), Leonardo DiCaprio ('The Wolf of Wall Street'), Chiwetel Ejiofor ('12 Years a Slave') and Matthew McConaughey ('Dallas Buyers Club').
The Oscars will be presented March 2 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, hosted by Ellen DeGeneres and broadcast live on ABC.
