Paes-Dlouhy enter Thailand Open semi-finals

New Delhi: Top seeds Leander Paes and Lukas Dlouhy moved into the men's semi-final at the ATP Thailand Open on Friday.

The Indo-Czech pair, finalists at US Open, beat the unseeded pair of Tomas Berdych of Czech Republic and Simone Bolelli of Italy in less than an hour.

The duo breezed through the first set winning it 6-1 and then finished off the match in style by winning the second 6-2.

Doubles quarter-finals

Fabrice Santoro and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, France, def. Robert Lindstedt, Sweden, and Philipp Petzschner (3), Germany, 0-6, 6-4, 10-4 tiebreak.

Lukas Dlouhy, Czech Republic, and Leander Paes (1), India, def. Tomas Berdych, Czech Republic, and Simone Bolelli, Italy, 6-1, 6-2.

Julien Benneteau and Nicolas Mahut, France, def. Marat Safin, Russia, and Mischa Zverev, Germany, 7-5, 6-2.

Scott Lipsky and David Martin, United States, def. Robin Soderling, Sweden, and Rogier Wassen, Netherlands, 6-3, 7-5.
