New Delhi: Pakistani gangrape victim Mukhtar Mai’s international celebrity status continues to touch new heights.
Now, she has become a celebrity author in Europe.
With her resolve to fight Pakistan’s male-dominated society, Mukhtar Mai has brought her attackers to 'book'.
She has released a memoir in French language, titled Dishnoured, which is written in collaboration with Marie-Thérèse Cuny.
A German translation of the work, The Fault: Being a Woman has also been released simultaneously.
And now, Mukthar Mai surely has a busy schedule ahead.
The newly-minted author will spend some time in Paris, after which she is expected to travel to New York to attend a 'gala' arranged by the International Women's Health Coalition.
On January 21, she will head to Las Vegas to attend yet another event.
