President attends NLSIU convocation

BANGALORE: Encouraging the lawyers, graduating from the National Law School of India, University, President Pratibha Patil congratulated the 142 graduates and post -graduates of NLSIU.Speaking at the 19th convocation ceremony held at the Vidhana Soudha, she also spoke of the challenges within the legal system and the onus on legal education to meet those challenges. “ Expertise in International Law and knowledge about legal systems in other countries is still lacking in our country”, she said.
