TIRUNELVELI: “There was some progress during the third round of talks with the State Panel nominees, including people representatives, and we will hold talks until their fears are allayed and the protests come to an end,” said Central Expert Committee Chairman AE Muthunayagam.Speaking to the media, Muthunayagam said, “the people’s representatives in the State Panel had given us three letters in the last two meetings, and we gave a 38-page presentation at the last meet on November 18. They had asked us for various documents which were connected with ministries and various statutory bodies. So we suggested that they obtain it directly from them.” He added, “our main aim is to dispel the fears of the public and we have given a detailed 77-page document to the nominees in the State panel. which is also available on the internet.
