According to police, three persons were killed on the spot, while three others succumbed to their injuries on way to hospital. The victims had arrived in Begumganj town from Silwani tehsil in the district for the wedding. While the just-married couple was being taken home in another vehicle, the bride's brother was driving the relatives of the groom to Silwani from Begumganj, when the incident took place, police said.
The deceased were identified as Naresh Rai (45), Kamlesh Rai (40), Rajul Rai (18), bride's brother Piyush Rai (25), Deepak Nema (24) and Rashmi Rai (35), police said adding the injured were admitted in a private hospital in Bhopal.
